Dillon 6th Grade Ensemble

The 2019-2020 School Year will mark the first time in the history of the band program in Dillon that students will be able to begin there journey of developing a love for music through band in the sixth grade.

Dillon 7th Grade Ensemble

Traditionally, seventh grade is were students are first able to begin band. The tradition of excellence starts here. 

Dillon 8th Grade Ensemble

This is the premier performing ensemble for Dillon Middle. These students perform at various events throughout the fall, winter, and spring.

Dillon Concert Band

This ensemble is housed at Dillon High School. It’s membership is primarily ninth grade students with upperclassmen playing secondary instruments to ensure proper instrumentation.

Dillon Wind Ensemble

This is the premier concert band of the department. It is comprised of our top musicians and each section. This ensemble performs grade IV and V literature throughout the school year.

Dillon Jazz Combo/Ensemble

This group performs primarily during the spring semester. It performs various genres of music including Jazz, Blues, R&B, and POP.

Dillon Marching Cats

The Marching Cats is the most visible organization in the music department. They enjoy performing before excited crowds at various football games, competitions, parades, and other community events.
