Each February hundreds of talented high school band students from throughout the nation converge on the USC campus to participate in a weekend of music-making and learning. Founded in 1976 by James K. Copenhaver, the UofSC Band Clinic is among the nation’s longest-running and most prestigious honor band events.
Students in grades 10–12 are eligible to participate in the UofSC Band Clinic. To be selected to participate, students must first be nominated by their high school band directors
